ISK reserve — how it works
You set the fund's króna cash. Dashboard recalculates live. Mechanic below — tell us what to change.
1The number only you set
- ISK reserve = your Icelandic bank cash (Lausafé). IBKR can't see it.
- Today: fixed in code. New: you type it, save. Admin only.
2The fund always sums
Fund NAV = Deployed book + In-transit + ISK reserve
- Deployed book = positions + broker cash (IBKR).
- In-transit = cash you deployed, IBKR hasn't reported yet.
- ISK reserve = the króna cash you set.
- Deploying never changes total NAV — cash box → book box. So the split updates instantly, no waiting on IBKR.
3You deploy — what happens
Fund 1,68 ma.kr. Deploy 30 m.kr. Reserve 80 → 50 m.kr.
Before
NAV 1,68 ma.kr.
Deployed
Reserve
After · NAV unchanged
NAV 1,68 ma.kr.
Deployed
In-transit
Reserve
30 m.kr. Reserve → In-transit. Total NAV holds.
| Metric | On reserve change | |
| Deployed % · Cash % | Updates now | MOVES |
| Position weights (%NAV) | Untouched holdings — no change | STAYS |
| Total NAV · Themes | Conserved until new position lands | STAYS |
4Next morning
- IBKR posts once daily; your new positions land next morning.
- In-transit clears itself when they arrive. No second step. Shown honestly as "awaiting IBKR" until then.
5Screenshot preview · YOURS ONLY
- Finish a trading round → upload a screenshot of your IBKR positions. That's your only action — no confirming, no editing.
- Our workflow reads it and works out what changed. It works or it errors.
- Dashboard shows two states side by side: Confirmed (last pull) + Incoming (from your screenshot). Extra columns — never overwrites.
- Next IBKR pull → Incoming collapses into Confirmed. Automatic.
- If it fails, you get a clear message: bad/incomplete screenshot, or a system error.
- Waiting on your sample screenshot — that's what lets us build the reader.
