Danger — options

The fine displacement "distress" was too fragile — it barely renders. So danger is carried by colour accent, not a warp gimmick. Every card below uses the same red pole (--c-red-*) on the calm house edge; they differ in how far the red is pushed. The last card keeps an effect, but done visibly (coarse) for contrast. Flip dark/light.

A · Red frame colour-led

Cancel this meeting?

Red frame + warm-red ground + red halftone. Pure colour, calm house edge. No solid ring, no gimmick.

--c-red-deep frame

B · Red + orange accent double-signal

Cancel this meeting?

Red frame + a small orange tag. The old orange double-stroke, reimagined as a colour accent instead of a solid ring.

Irreversible

C · Red wash flushed

Cancel this meeting?

Red frame + a translucent red wash across the whole surface. The card visibly flushes red — the strongest colour read.

+ red wash overlay

D · Content-led restrained

Cancel this meeting?

Neutral ground, red frame, and the copy itself turns red. Quietest option — colour rides the text, not the fill.

red text + frame

E · Red glow haloed

Cancel this meeting?

Red frame + a soft red outer glow. Attention by halo rather than by frame weight.

+ red-glow shadow

F · Coarse distress effect-led

If you DO want a broken edge — this is the visible version (scale 12, not the fragile 7). A genuinely torn, agitated boundary. Colour still leads.

#edgeDangerCoarse · scale 12

All six share the same red pole and the same console cancel button (.btn--inv, red ticks / blue fill). Recommendation: A (or B when an "irreversible" signal helps) — colour-led, robust, no fragile effect. C if you want the whole card to flush. F only if a torn edge is explicitly wanted; it's built to actually render.
