Replacements for the disliked thick solid ring (--focus-ring: 2px solid). Each option is shown forced-on for a field and a button, dark+light. The strongest options reuse grammar the system already owns — the #edgeHot warp-energize and the .btn corner-tick — so focus stays coherent, not a bolt-on. Pick one; it becomes the single --focus-ring treatment.
Thick solid ring current · disliked
2px solid azure, 2px offset. The generic browser-outline look — reads as a bolt-on, not part of the system.
Energized edge system-native
On focus the frame's procedural edge ramps to #edgeHot — it breathes harder. No ring at all; the surface itself signals focus. Reuses the hover/live interaction grammar.
Corner-tick system-native
Four blue L-brackets appear just outside the control and push out — the exact console grammar of the button. Ties focus to the house button language.
Thin inset ring
A single 1px hairline drawn inside the frame edge. Quiet and precise — the restrained version of the current ring, without the fat outset band.
Dim glow
A soft --c-primary-glow halo, no hard edge. Gentle, but the least "instrument-grade" — closest to a generic web glow.
